Lip Flip
Lip Flip
The Botox Lip Flip procedure is a simple and non-invasive method of enhancing the shape of your upper lip. During this procedure, a small amount of botox is injected near the border of the lip in order to relax the muscles. This results in the appearance of a fuller, more pouty lip – without the need for any added volume. After around a week, the toxins start to take effect, causing the lip to ‘flip’ upwards, giving the impression of greater size. Unlike fillers, this procedure does not add any extra volume, making it a natural and subtle way to improve the look of your lips.
The Lip Flip procedure makes your lips look fuller without adding volume. It tends to boost self esteem with the new look.
LIGHT
These are our gentlest peels and don’t require downtime to heal other than slight sloughing of the skin. These are best for first time chemical peel guests or guests with dry, dull or sensitive skin. A healthy glow is yielded.
MODERATE
Moderate chemical peels are used to treat mild to moderate skin concerns such as dullness, acne, past acne scars, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. The medium chemical peel is a more intensive treatment than the light peel and will require a couple of days for your skin to recover.
ADVANCED
These advanced chemical peels are used to treat moderate to significant skin concerns such as higher grade acne, acne scars, deeper wrinkles and sun damage. FAQs
How does a lip flip differ from a lip filler?
The purpose of a lip flip and lip fillers is to make your lips appear fuller. If you would like to change the shape of your lips but already have a decent amount of volume, a lip flip is a great choice. It can provide you with a subtle but lasting change to the shape of your lips. However, if you’re looking for more volume and a longer-lasting result, lip fillers are a great option. They can provide you with full, plump lips that will last for a longer period of time.
How long does a lip flip last?
Similar to all other Botox injections, it tends to last two to five months.
What are the most common risks of a lip flip?
Botox lip flips can provide a fuller, more defined lip shape, but there are potential risks associated with the procedure. These can include drooling, difficulty drinking and speaking, and headaches. In very rare cases, botulism may be contracted. After Botox injections, there is no way to reverse the effects and you must wait until the Botox wears off. It is important that you understand these risks before undergoing a lip flip.
What is the average recovery time?
Pain and swelling should subside within 12 to 24 hours.
When am I able to eat or drink after getting a lip flip?
For at least three days, avoid eating messy foods that can cause you to wipe your face or lips.
